Information Technology Technician, In-Training

Salary £15,065 p.a. (plus entry to an appropriate level qualification)

UCB are seeking to recruit a self-motivated and hard-working individual with a genuine interest in IT to join our team of Technicians in the role of Trainee.

The successful candidate will provide help and support to staff and students on a range of IT issues in this learning-focused role. You will have pre-existing knowledge of a range of software products, experience in a customer-facing role and excellent communication skills.

In addition to undertaking a relevant professional qualification in line with the two-year training contract, broader opportunities to expand your skill set will be made available to the post-holder. An interest in career development and up-skilling is therefore expected. 

A flexible approach to work is also essential as you may occasionally be required to work evenings and/or weekends in order to support the needs of the service.
